Services: The Mero Action Commission can provide funds in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis to help Nashville families with:

  • rent and utilities
  • short-term housing assistance to those who are
    • about to be evicted
    • on the verge of homelessness
    • the newly homeless in need of housing

The program is operated by the Metro Development and Housing Agency for MAC. Applicants for any these programs must live in Davidson County and meet other income guidelines and requirements. In addition to rental and utility assistance, MAC also offers the following:

  • Emergency Services
  • Education, including Head Start and Early Head Start Food and Nutrition (including WIC)
  • Family Development
  • Employment/Employment Training
  • Income Management
  • Transportation
  • Housing
  • Economic Development
  • Health Care
